A good morning, bright and fresh. The temperature has gone from 2 degrees to 11, overnight. It's so warm that I was able to walk without a fleece, rain coat or the dreaded waterproof trousers. The snow has all gone off the peat track but there are still traces on the Outlandia track.

The sounds today are of streams in spate, no longer wind and rain in the trees.
I began today with some quick drawings in charcoal and then working in watercolour and then mixed media.

It was a satisfying day and the pieces from yesterday were now dry and three of them work together as a piece.

I am hoping tomorrow to work up here and then at lunchtime head down into the glen to finish the large painting I started on Sunday. Then to do some drawing on the opposite side of the glen and possibly walk up river to the old graveyard Ach Nan Con, this will be weather & light dependant.

I will also have to select materials to leave up here to work with on Friday as it will be quite a job getting all of these materials down in one trip.
