A colder start to the day again, but I must be getting used to it because I shed my fleece before reaching the peat track. On arriving at Outlandia I opened the windows and set to work.
Mainly painting today working over with chalk / ink / charcoal ...

Looking down at the sheep foild again.
I worked fast to combat the cold. The constant sound of a helicopter which I could see bringing stone round the Ben in tote bags for the path repairs, kept me in a rhythm. Working on a number of pieces at once meant that they were drying as I came back to work on them again.

I also decided to burn all my waste paper & sweepings from the floor so made a wee fire, great idea because I was able to work out by it for a while and my feet stayed warm. And I used some of the materials provided by nature - soil, charcoal ...

I came down the hill loaded with materials that I won't use tomorrow as I seem to have gathered quite a lot of stuff up here in Outlandia.

The super saturated colours are amazing in this light today and it's quite difficult to stop working. I kept sketching once back in the warmth of the Ben Nevis Inn as the view from their main window is amazing.
