New Year - New Work

It seems like an eternity since I last typed here, and I have missed recording the small details that make each day unique for me. So although we are a couple of weeks in to this New Year I am going to endeavour to add to this each day. Since my last entry I have been creating plenty of work, some days have been more productive than others due to lack of isolation. But being imersed back in real life has only added to my stimulus.

Ardtoe, Dorlin, Loch Sunart and the surrounding areas have been my mainstay for the past month and despite the weather, the light & colours have inspired me as always.

These two drawings of trees were done in December.

Today the rain has been relentless and so a day in the studio collating and recording images has been my task.

But tomorrow no matter what the weather brings I plan to be outside creating work.

Each day I will post images of the work I have done and some of the pieces from the past month (Dec15-Jan16).

I hope this does not become too uninteresting to read, as it really will be a record of my daily creative activitiy.
